Message from the Committee

As the Committee of the South Bruce Peninsula Physicians Search Committee, we take great pleasure in presenting you with some background information on our area. This website is intended to spark your interest in our community, in the hope that you might consider our municipality as the future home of your medical practice. 

Most professionals move to our community for a mixture of professional and personal reasons.  We must tell you from personal experience that South Bruce Peninsula is an excellent place to live and work.

We have some of the longest, cleanest and most picturesque freshwater beaches in the world.

We offer unique geographical contrasts, rare orchids and other flora, birds and fauna, within a very close area.

South Bruce Peninsula is within a World Biosphere Reserve, designated by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, as a unique natural paradise

We have some of the best freshwater boating and fishing the world.

We are two and a half hours by car and an hour by air from Toronto, the busiest international gateway to Canada.
